Pictures of the Grand Canyon

These are all scanned photos of the Grand Canyon from our trip to western parks in 2002.

This is near sunset. There's a tradeoff between dramatic shadows and "Hey, I can't see anything!".

Closer to noon - hardly any shadows at all..

This is one of the trails on down into the Grand Canyon. Yes, those are switchbacks. I have a nearly identical photo (except it's in black and white) from a trip my grandmother took some years back. Hasn't changed.
